Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then stir in salt and sugar. Allow salt to dissolve, then remove from heat. Allow to cool
Add chicken to a 1 gallon Ziploc bag and pour cooled brine mixture over chicken. Seal, removing as much air as possible and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Prepare grill or cooking source. Chicken will have salt from the brine, so carefully season with Home Run Rub to your preference.
