We are infusing ordinary chicken with extra flavor while making it more tender and juicier. This is another technique to make you the King or Queen of the Grill in your neighborhood.

Brined Chicken

Cook Time20 mins
Ingredients
- 2 cups Water
- 1.5 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 4 Chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tsp Home Run Rub
Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then stir in salt and sugar. Allow salt to dissolve, then remove from heat. Allow to cool
- Add chicken to a 1 gallon Ziploc bag and pour cooled brine mixture over chicken. Seal, removing as much air as possible and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
- Prepare grill or cooking source. Chicken will have salt from the brine, so carefully season with Home Run Rub to your preference.
- Grill or cook chicken until done.
